Shade Tree is composed of four members - readers of romance novels, jewelers, research growers of blueberries, stitchers and electron pushers. Motley crew that we are we still make time for making music.
Lea as been singing since girls chorus in highschool and during college years. She was a member of Burr Oak Ensemble for 18 years. She loves singing, gardening, her children, her grand baby, making jewelry and Ray.
David's guitar playing adds depth to our harmonies and holds us together. He was a member of Burr Oak Ensemble for 17 years and loves to sit out in the back yard playing and singing. He adds his voice and harmonica to our music. His song hurricane, is one of our favorites. He loves singing and playing, carpentry, fishing, hunting, blue berry farming, his children, and Claudia.
Will brings in the very bottom, jazzing up on the bass. A reluctant vocalist, Will adds his voice to various pieces. He also has a good ear for pitch and key. Will loves playing the bass, rebuilding his 1938 brick house, carpentry, computers, old Land Rovers, his children and Joni.
Becky fills the highs with her sweet voice and has been surrounded by music all her life. Becky is known for leaping off on artistic wings. Becky is also multi talented and adds in with various percussion such as egg, snare drum, and tambourine. Sometimes two at once while singing. Becky loves, singing, quilting, gardening, her children and Joe. Whoo-eee
